1. Service description
MCPShieldVow (“we”, “us”, “MCPShield”) operates a cloud-based MCP runtime sandbox, threat-intelligence network, and cryptographic supply-chain attestation platform (“Service”) for enterprise deployments of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter contracts in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us immediately at support@mcpshield.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Service — including software, documentation, trademarks, and trade secrets — belong exclusively to MCPShieldVow or its licensors.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service solely for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
- You retain ownership of data and content you upload (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service.
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- MCPShieldVow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
5. Data processing
By using the Service you acknowledge that we process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
- All personal data is stored on EU-region infrastructure in accordance with GDPR (CONST-STACK-11).
- Enterprise customers who require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may request one at privacy@mcpshield.dev.
- You are the data controller for any personal data contained in Customer Data; we act as processor on your behalf.
6. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the console notification banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.

9. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MCPShieldVow regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
